The Coordinate-Measuring-Machines from THOME Precision are characterised by the highest precision, durability and nearly  maintenance-free operation.

All our 3D-Measuring-Machines come equipped with optimiced air bearing guides in all axis. Thermal stability and high rigidity is achieved by using the highest quality materials such as high precision granit guides or ceramics. Double passive vibration absorbers are integrated directly in the frame. Additionally, all our CMM´s can be delivered with actic pneumatic vibration dampers upon request. This allows you dampening of low frequency vibrations.

All our Measuring-Machines come equiped with totally enclosed machine guides. This helps protect against dirt, damage and direct thermal influences.

High-dynamic servo-motors and highly rigid, low friction belt drives guarantee optimal positioning behavior. These factors make our Coordinate-Measuring-Machines ideal for scanning! The advantages when scanning are due to the ability to make extremly precise statements about the forms shape and accuracy, as well as the time saved when compared to conventional tactile scanning methods.

In addition to the dimensions listed in the table, we can offer some other combinations of axis lengths upon request.

CMM RAPID-Plus

The CMM "RAPID-Plus". has the same characteristics as the renewed Measuring Machine RAPID. The difference is simply that the RAPID-Plus is a little bit more exact, a little larger and a little more expensive.

As with all CMM´s from THOME, the X-axis comes equipped with a reinforcement railing. This provides all CNC-Measuring-Machines with an even higher level of precision and stability. This can be of critical importance during high-speed measuring, where sudden changes in direction are common.

The RAPID-Plus is nearly maintenance-free.
